N&K Music and Audio, Jason's business entity, specializes in on-location recordings. Working for Recording Services while at Michigan State University gave him experience recording a wide range of solo instruments, ensemble combinations, wind and jazz bands, and orchestras. In addition to live performances, he is also available for private recording sessions. His professional mobile set-up allows him to travel to the venue of your choice to make the recording. Partnered with Midwest Pro Sound, he has engineered recordings for numerous solo, chamber ensemble, band, orchestra, and choral events in southeast Michigan and Amsterdam, as well as all of his own classical and stage band recordings. Complete editing capabilities are also available, allowing for splicing of multiple takes in addition to a full suite of sound enhancements such as (but certainly not limited to) EQ, reverb, compression, noise reduction, etc. With these abilities, it is nearly possible to record a piece, one measure at a time, in your bedroom, and make it sound like a live performance at Carnegie Hall.
