A contra bass clarinet, an electric guitar, a female voice as well as electronics in new and contemporary pieces by Morton Feldman, David Ryan, Toru Takemitsu, Christina Oorebeek, Christian Carey, Christian Wolff, Mark Dyer as well as “Magnetic River” for solo electric guitar and “Translucent Ikon ” for contra bass clarinet and electric guitar by Thanos Chrysakis and a new ensemble work by Tim Hodgkinson.

Christmas and whatnot

This course features playing in bass clarinet and bassoon ensembles and a massed choir, featuring original compositions and transcriptions. Also separate sessions for bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet and bassoon which cover general areas of technique.
